A journey of a thousand miles.....

hey fellow tokers... a journey of a thousand miles...

just new to this and looking to meet like minded people to share experiences with

about to start my first grow

got a 1.2x1.2x2.0 grow tent with 600w light, inlet and outlet fans, ph tester and temp/humidity gauge

was going to grow in soil but have now changed to hydro after a bit of research [higher yields]

going to get the auto pot 4 pot system as pump noise would be an issue

rockwool, clay pebbles and lava rock[bottom/better for the roots] for the medium

the feed will be advanced nutrients sensi grow/sensi bloom/big bud

ironically the seeds i'll be getting are sensi big bud seeds haha

planing to veg for 4 to 6 weeks the flower for 8

im still open to ideas/ suggestions about anything else though.

well guys ive gave you a quick insight of whats to come so would love to hear your feedback on this

peace out bud lovers

Sounds like you're well on your way. Have you had the 600 running in the tent to check temps? That's a big light for an enclosed space.

IMO, the larger amount hydro may yield in the end is offset by a higher quality final product in a wll done organic garden. And there is no easier way to grow than a dialed in organic setup.

Good luck with everything.

I grow indoors in organic soil I mix myself under a single 400 HPS. Enough for me, friends and a few medical people I've run across. I NEVER sell my shit, even though I could make a small annual fortune, $10,000 or so, doing it.

Just so you know, those opinions of mine will draw, let's say, a strong reaction from the hydro folks. They don't like anyone talking about the quality of their shit being less than anything else. Just like we organic growers. It's an endless debate without winner. Either way, start something, get good at it, and then expand your horizons, regardless if your going soil organic or hydro chemical to start.
