a lil help here im confused?+rep

wen doing a dcw system do u just put the nutes in the water and never touch it? how often do u nute the water and how often do u chance the water? i need help im about to get a dcw system heres the link it u wana look at it

You change out the solution every 7 to 14 days. At first do not attempt to add more nuets. Lern your system first. Just top off with water until the change and you will be fine. There is alot more you can do, but learn your system and your strains first.

that will be alot of nutes u be using if u do it very 7 day, how much nutes do u put in lets say a 5 gallon bucket in every watering, and if u think wat nutes it depends, lets say its gona be flora nova nutes, ?

During agressive growth or flowering you will quickly get an imbalance of nutes in the tank if you do not change it out.

Could change half every 7 - 14 days and the whole tank every month.

Yes, you can do many different things, but at some point it will hurt the plant.

I find that if I don't dump the water every 7 days something almost always goes wrong...eventually. Save yourself some heartache (yes I have sent more than one beauty to an early grave...) and change your water, like clockwork, each week. Play later, learn now. Hope that helps!

but ur be using like 2 bottles completly witch is like 40 dallors, before the plant even harvests, that is a lot of nutes, or do u not nute it every time u water it? thats alot of water wicht means alot of nutes espectally if u change it every week

In DWC usually go half strength on the nutes increase slightly then back off if ANYTHING burns but the manufacturers recomended dosage is usually through the roof. Good luck

And also when you runnin these high octane ppms..and you look in the res and see they didnt eat for a day or 2..NUTE LOCK..Do a flush and replenish immediately.

well i ono i havnt flowered yet with my stuff but the way i vegged whether its right or not. after they rooted good enough for big bucket i filled the bucket with roughtly 4 gallons of 321. i use the reg gh gro micro bloom . i would then add 40ml of micro then 60ml gro n 20ml of bloom. i ran that till the bucket was bout empty which took about 3.5 weeks. then i filled 2 gal of 222. i didnt put much in cuz i dont wanna waste nutes. so it only calls for 2 weeks of 222 i am not gunna be able to do the full 2 weeks cuz i didnt have time to do it a week before i started flowerin. so since i started flower sat im goin to add about 15ml to be a lil on the strong side into each 2 gall this sat with a lil water to top back off to 2 gal. then when they drink that down all the way ill do a new 4 gal of 123 depending on how close it is to the end. this sat i may only need to add water to like 3 of my 11 cuz they drink more then others cuz there a lil bigger in size n thicker. but i dont change every week or two. it might be better but i dont wanna wase nutes or have time.

and even to sound even worse is when i moved these to flower i took all the left over nutes and put it in a bunch of buckets so i can save for the next veg. most of the ppm was still there. and the water was drank up . like there was about 2 inches in the bottom of one bucket with 3400 ppm and i made it at 1500. i do realize that some properties in the nutes are used up more then others but kmon the plant prob isnt usin ghtat much of all them all at the same time which is why i had so much nutes left over. prob still ok to use i think. how bout you guys. i mean my plants look good no?

dwc can be a very expensive venture. i probably go thru about $100 worth of nutes for about a 4 plant grow. i use grow/bloom nutes, hygrozyme, ph up/down, liquid kool bloom, powder kool bloom, density and snow storm. but in the end, a $100 investment is money well spent when you get some frosty nugs to smoke.
