A little advice

I am in Scottsdale Arizona and I started 2 Big Bud plants, 1 Laquesti Gold, and 1 Haze plant. I have the indoor plants under around 200 watts of warm and cool flouros. The Big bud plants are the oldest. I recently put one of the Big buds outside into a hole which is about 16 inches deep and pretty wide, its filled with good soil. The big bud plant that I put outside is about 3 inches high and 3 and a half weeks old. I am wondering how tall i should allow it to grow before I force it to flower or alternatively let it go until later this year and endure the summer tempatures that can reach 110 or so. I have about 3 and a half months till the high temps come. I am looking for a large yield here. Thanks so much for the help.

soo... let me make sure I understand this correctly. You are going to plant them in the ground and then control the sunlight they get. And your question is how tall should you let it get before doing this? And you have 3 1/2 months before it s 110. And you are looking for a large yield. How many hours of sunlight do you get now? I think you may have just put it into flowering and in about a month and a half from now you will have it in vegging as far as hours of available sunlight is concerned. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome. Right now I'm getting roughly 13 hours of light a day. So the solution here is to let it veg for another 45 days and then control the sunlight intake? Will this supply a good Yield taking into consideration the strain (big bud)? And Another question, when I reach that stage, how tall should the plant be and how do I sucessfully force the plant to flower (duration of sun intake, how to cover the plant etc.? Thanks again.

I guess the real question here is, would it be a bad Idea to let it go through the summer's high temps? Should I force it to flower?
