"Ya'll" can be a number of people over 2 and up to an unlimited number of people. (ie. PadawanWarrior just referred to "ya'll").. this could be everyone in this thread, or everyone on RIU. "You'ns" ... yeah, that's just stupid.
it's a regional thing, i didn't think it up, and only use it when i go visitin in the hollers....no idea why they thought y'all was insufficient for a larger crowd
Then there's the infamous "All a Ya'll"... this is a larger crowd, and it's number cannot be determined, nor should it.

I was raised in the Middle East, (American born in OK, moved to the Mid East at 11 years old) and moved back here in 1985, but I still can't speak the lingo...
