a little help

hey im new to the site. ive always browsed it and it is a wonderful place for info.

i am attempting to complete my first indoor operation.
ive only grown outdoor for the most part.

using cfl's and a 400 mh.

ive been flowering the plants now for about 3 and a half weeks.
these pictures are one week old from today.


my buds aren't really growing in the past few days.. just the hairs have been getting brown and all the tops have been building up alot of crystals. and the buds are really small..
im running 12.12.

any thoughts on what could cause it to end early?

there may have been a time or two where some outside light shined onto them for a few seconds at most, could that do anything?

yeah, it most likely has to do with the light leaks

maybe you should trim them up a bit.

post some recent pics, to me they look healthy, just needing alot more time.. what are you feeding them??? give us the basic parameters...

hey, thanks for all the advice. here are some more current pictures. i am at four and a half weeks into flowering, and on the first few plants that started buding first the white hairs are like 25% browning.

should i cut off alot of the water leaves and make it look like more of just a bud?


i am using this fox farm neutrian that i got from the hydro store. i was using grow big for veg, now im using tiger bloom. but i do also have big bloom have not tried it yet.
im thinking a 400 watt halide and the 8 42 watt cfl's. i should get atleast a half p you'd think? i use a black sheet i put over the window to keep the room dark. i was hoping that was good enough.. i keep the temp between 67-85 max, but there was a day or two it went to 90 for a couple hours at peak.... my ph levels are about 6.5.

anymore thoughts? thanks again for the help!!
