idk about that one this time... normally I wouldn't feel inspired to do this but somehow I think something might happen this time... I understand why you feel that way, history does tend to repeat itself...

but the vibe feels different this time.
 
My money is on RIU telling you where you can go :)

Let's just hope that RIU sees SOMETHING if members are willing to do this. Even if it doesn't change anything at least we see that we can be civil with each other, yeah?

Most of your posts are a bit too long winded for me. There just wasn't enough to keep my interest in reading the whole thing.
From what I did read though, you give the impression that you're a very narcissistic and insecure person whos just looking take your anger out on someone, anyone, who doesn't see things exactly as you do. It's all like - me, me, me, with you.

LOL....I've never read the rules of this site....No infractions either. I'm kewl with just about anything people. There is a line in the sand and most rational sane people who lack deep rooted mental defects,,,,know where that line is. I've seen Doc08/Burning/Mr. Personality cross it a few times. That is why he is on my ignore list. This Canuck has no time or desire to interact on any level with the person behind the doc08/burning personna or others of his ilk. It is true that if you ignore the trolls completley they will go away since there is no longer any food for them.
 
Who here remembers when the wake n bake thread got shut down back in the summer of 2009 because a mod one day decided he thought people were posting in it to much.
who here remembers all the Original members who went off and created their own forums, and most the Members who actually know about growing left, sure we still got all the CFL master growers here... We still got some good growers here, but its FEW AND FAR BETWEEN compared to what it once was.
Who remembers jackmayoffer or tipsgonb..

The people bitching are the folks who have actually been a part of RIU longer than a couple months and know how things work around here.

We have lost thousands of great members from RIU, members who actually know how to grow weed,, not members who's only grows are in the sick plant section, fucking dying and looking all yellow..:LOL:

Now nothing wrong with being a new grower either or having plant problems(we all been there), but its litteraly become the BLIND LEADING THE BLIND..

how about instead nazi modin toke n talk, go clean up all the shit grow info on here.

Also lets have a SEPERATE social rep bar, and a grow rep bar...

Just cause your a funny ass cat don't mean you know how to grow, don't get it twisted cause you have a high rep,

and just cause your a badass grower doesnt mean your not an asshole prick.

I have never tried saying I know how RIU used to be, nor have I tried to act like I do, I clearly say multiple times that it is the old RIU that I hear about from the older members that have stuck it out, or even the guys that have been here for just a year or two. While the site might not be as informational or filled with great growers of the past, there are still some helpful posts, as you stated. It is just a matter of actually having the smarts to recognize, and doing research on your own too.

This petition was to try to get the haters, trolls, flamers, whatever one wants to call them, to be dealt with differently than punishing the older members that have, unfortunately, been driven out of here by the downfall ths site has done in their eyes.

Does this petition directly relate to the misinformation that is all over the grow forums? No, but ever heard of the ripple effect? If we start weeding out these guys from the bottom (trolls, flamers) then why couldn't this become more of a mature site again?

While I feel your pain about the growing sections having some shitty information, this thread wasn't started to address that.
 
Ten reps off that one post, epic... glad some of you are with me, although this just further proves what I am saying that we should have a social rep system and a growers rep system.

The very same ones that should know the rules by now and won't isn't tolerated?

The problem isn't a lack of folks who know the RIU ropes, the problem is no active mods.... even the regulars know when FDD goes away; then you start seeing "fuck you" posts...

You guys can blame it on newbs all you want, I see more older members abusing others more than anything.... This thread was a perfect example....
