My biggest single mushroom yet. Just thought I'd share. :)

If anyone wants to stop over and help me dispose of this monster I got a fridge full of beer and a jar full of Blue Cheese left over from 2011 harvest. :bigjoint:

Thanks! It's Ecuador on coir with 5 quarts popcorn spawn. Pulled around 1/2lb off this tub so far in 4 flushes. This stuff is practically contam proof. I don't think I'll ever go back to hpoo except for my pan project I want to get started on soon. I'm certain I can get another couple oz's off it yet if I dunk, but I think I'm just going to toss it since I have 5 more quarts of spawn eagerly waiting.

Down in Fl we get mushrooms that size, sometimes bigger, even though grass is illegal here we still got good mushrooms:lol:

My ego came out this morning, "that was a big mushroom sonar had there but I am the unvarnished master of this and I've got pictures of bigger ones I've grown". "I've grown far lager, Far far larger. No one can beat me in the realm of BIG. " So I went through them, and then I even checked a few mushrooms that I saved out because they were so big - well my personal best is 6.8 grams, just under a quarter oz. You have even more of my respect - that scale is bigger than I thought - That is a big mushroom

Nice man. Two of my friends and I shared a 13 gram shroom once... I asked what strain it was he replied "BBD". I just lolled, ate it and turned into a fucking owl at my local park flying around... Great time.

I can't believe I didn't see this b4. Great work on the stuff man. Sooo. Whatever happened to that first shroom? Did you eat it in halves? Or did you chomp it all down?

No I still have it. Not really sure what I'm going to do with it. I think one of them in the new pic is going to surpass it.

Yeah these coir tubs are funny. This is my 3rd or 4th one I think with the same ecuador strain and they always turn out the same way. They start off with a small 1st flush. Then they just throw off random mushrooms here and there for seriously like a month. Then, just when I start thinking I've wasted my time and it's time to chuck it, I get a decent flush with some moster fruits. If I keep it around for another flush it will probably only throw off about 8-10 fruits, but they will all be in the 4-6g range, maybe bigger.

I have a few theories, but I'm not 100% sure why it takes so long. I just checked the date and I spawned the tub back on 2/4
