and the term education is being used very loosely..

i would propose, that educating is teaching people HOW to learn...

And teaching people what and believe is called programming or manipulating or in some circles, it is called brain washing...

One of the best decisions I ever made was switching from public school to a Catholic H.S. The level of education there was heads and shoulders above anything the public schools could provide. Calculus, Physics, Organic Chemistry, Philosophy...top shelf teachers (many of whom were civilian) as well. To this day I'm thankful my parents got the money from my grandmother to send me there.

For the record, I'm not a Catholic nor am I a Christian. Never once did they force me to accept their dogma. I did take a Theology (Religions of the World)course though and found it fascinating.
 
The Catholic school in my area had and has the greatest highschool football team in the history of the United States.

The first thing they asked me in my oral interview.

"What sports do you play".. lol


I was accepted... i protested and kicked and screamed like a spoiled brat... I won that battle.. public school for me...

My junior year my english teacher had us act out and read JOB.... great story... not a single kid or parent protested... wasn;t even mentioned as anything controversial...

just a great story.. taught by a great teacher

Hey, I had to try out my grow now didn't I? Hey, I'll bet I've smoked as much or more weed than you and your husband combined. I smoked for 35 years on a daily basis, I mean, as soon as I got out of bed I fired one, and continued all day as I could allow, so yup, I know about the stony level of weed. I just got to a point in life where I didn't need outside influences on my consciencesness, IE I grew up. Now don't think I'm being condescending, it takes some people longer than others, so toke on.

Besides ... couch-lock weed isn't my cup of tea. You should try my Cherry-Lime-Rickey. Nice even high ... no paranoia and no couch-lock. Just a merry, happy, shit-faced, smiley type of high. Open a jar of cured CLR and all you get is fragrant sweetness. Loaded with crystals, the CLR is truly a pot snob product. If I were to sell it ... and I say IF ... cuz I don't sell my weed, this stuff would bring $500 an oz from the right buyer. And the right buyer would be an achiever, a free marketeer and a capitalist. I wouldn't sell to any other type. :mrgreen:
