Not saying you're implying kids do drugs..just making a correlation between your statement and a small sized user..an 80 will get a user well..a casual user would be sucking their toes as we all know...

I understand they didn't use meth(well maybe, but not when they died) ..you asked if heroin users put some glass in their shots..yes they do..also use coke,to mediate the nod..so they are lucent and can enjoy the heroin without passing out through the majority of the effects...coke,crack,meth,coffee,nicotine....all very welcome by addicts...canndo,don't think a mg per lb of body weight sounds advisable..perhaps over a lengthy adjustment of usage..but I couldn't imagine my 12 year old eating an o.c. 80,much less snorting one...her or any other sized human...I severely hope she never sees one.

I am common among tall folks, I like my women small. It is the 110 lb woman I was thinking of. I stupidly made my wife sick on two different occasions and she trusts me implicitly. Once with methaqualone and once with dilaudid. In the second case I was ready and willing to get her to the hospital and would have been far more comfortable with a little of something I could give her directly. With the first, she was simply not allowed to sit down for a few hours.

Up until recently we monitor our tolerance rather closely - of course I've blown them all to hell with that damn fentanyl and then cemented the deal with a combination of oxymorphone and hyromorphone.

Damn it.

At this rate, there is 0 chance of this petition reaching the goal. I'm having difficulty in finding a way to spread the word without making it look like I'm heroin addict. I don't even do heroin.. If I posted this on my FB, I'm sure everyone would jump to conclusions... I'm down to help out, I just need some direction.

Scenario:
Somone overdoses on OxyContin, goes into a coma, Narcan will save them?
Slipping into a coma is an effect, whereas the cause being the overdose. At this point the damage is done and new problems have arrived. No to answer your question. But the Narcan would have prevented the coma in the first place. This is why they are trying to have this drug more easily available, as a preventive measure.

Narcan needs to be administered quickly to be effective is the problem with it not being available.

This is why the goverment is so fucked up, it's like they want you to die. This shit could save so many lives but yet they almost never use it.

Narcan is the antidote to opioid overdose yet it isn't available. When seconds count 911 takes minutes. Narcan can't be abused, the only thing making it available will do is reduce the number of pointless deaths. I am only alive because some had acquired some and used it to save my life. If I have helped you in anyway or taught you anything please sign this.

In Chicago, Illinois we can get it for free from Chicago's Recovery Alliance. They provide needles, cookers, filters, water, HIV testing, and Narcan(actually it's Naloxone but it's the same thing just generic)...all for free. For the Narcan they use to make you watch a short video detailing how to use it, or they would give you a free dvd so you could bring it home and just watch it there. CRA goes to different locations throughout the city and the suburbs during the week. You can log onto their website and it has the schedule of where they will be and at what time. They also do deliveries for free as well. You just call the number and set up a meeting spot. It's a great organization that's saved many people not only from OD's by giving Narcan out for free but also saved people from HIV and such by giving out free clean needles.

Here is a link to their schedule of where they'll be and when. It also tells you what services they offer.

But wait - this "sends the wrong message". right? It sends the message that life is precious and everyone deserves as many chances to be as they wish or as they aspire as they have time enough in their lives. The longer we help them avoid finality the more chances they get to get it right in their lives. Yeah, it's the wrong message sent by those who believe that life is only precious when it resides in the womb.

Forgive me, I am a bit bitter about this Boston thing and it carries over into the absurdities of our nation's "moral compass".

had a buddy OD on me. Pumped his chest and he woke up. stopped pumping and he died. did that 3 or 4 times before the EMTs showed up and hit him with a shot of narcan. he woke right back up and AMA'd himself and didnt take the ambulance ride.

Seattle does the needle exchange as well. Best place to get dope (or get robbed) is at 2cnd and Pike were the exchange is. That whole area of of town where pikes place is is a heroin den. Jump out vans always cruising.
It was nice bringing in a 2 liter bottle full of old rigs and walking out with 10 10packs of new ones. nothing like a new needle ;)
