A prospective patient asking for help

Hello everyone! My names Chris. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer last month, I had surgery and unfortunately the doc saw fit to take one of my boys from me . Long sob story short, i'm about to begin chemo and am very interested in becoming a medical marijuana patient. I have done some research online (mostly Dr. Reefer) and was disappointed to learn of how costly the process can be even with the discounted rates for providing your own medical history. I can't afford the cost of the application and was wondering if anyone knew of a cost effective way of becoming a patient. On the same note, when and if I obtain patient status, are there folks who could help someone who may not be able to afford the high cost of medicine? As long as i'm physically able I would be more than willing to exchange work for medicine. Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm not sure what Nevada's laws are like (I'm in Cali) but over here it's about as difficult to become a MMJ patient and grow as it is to buy vegetables at the store.

out here its $75 for doc with your own medical history, $300 with out. $25 for fingerprints. $10 notary fee. $150 non-refundable application for the state. and $22 to the dmv for the card. $300 is a lot to ask for when your dealing with cancer without health insurance and no job.

The initial fees can be a kick in the nuts, i think i remember hearing the state has some program for patients that cant afford the fees, u would have to call and ask tho.. 775-687-7594

I do not live in LV, but Dayton. The phone number "Bublonichronic" put up is good. I found them here on this site and researched it for a neighbor of mine. Call them and see if they can help you or at the very least know of a co.op. down in LV to help you out (775)687-7594 Can't hurt to try it out.
