A question about nute salt buildup

Im on my first grow of 3 autoflowers. 2 DNA Genetics 60 Day Wonders, and 1 Dutch Passion Auto Blueberry. Im using Pro Mix with Mycorrhizae and a Sun Systems 150w hps light. Temps range from 74-82 F. I am using a local hydro shop brand of nutes...their grow blend is 7-9-5 and their bloom blend is 3-12-6. I used the Grow for the first 3 weeks (with reduced quantity) and then switched to the bloom. I was just wanting some insight as to a watering schedual to reduce nute salt buildup in my soilless medium. Currently nowadays they feed every other day, and the 3rd feeding is plain tap or distilled.

Am i going too far to try to keep from burning my plants? Or am i limiting their growth due to overly trying to keep them green and happy? I know they are auto's so i want to do as much as i can in their limited amount of time to grow and produce

And I play drums hence the username and props to all the players!

They seem to be green and happy! Im just curious if i can push them farther or to keep them where they are. i feed at 1/2 nutes per gallon every other day, and on the 3rd watering i use plain tap (we have one of the best of the nations best tap water quality). Im a new grower but a precautious one for the benefit of the plants. I recently moved so if i can find my camera ill post pics. Not to sound redneck, but ive won the local festival's tomato growing contest for the past 3 years. I love growing things, and this plant is completely new to me. And to be honest, i dont smoke, but i am an advocate for the plants benefit. Ive seen more than one of my reletives die of cancer and "illegally" medicating for relief, which turned me on to becoming more informed. And furthermore, if people want to smoke, they will. Id rather have em smoke my perfectly cared for plants, than whatever trash is shipped in from other countries.
