a response to an old "what if thread."

i forgot who origanally started the thread but the question was what if our knees bent the other way? what would chairs look like? It bothered me for quite some time and i think i figured it out. They would have to look like long elevated tables for us to lay on our stomachs because without our knees bending backwards our thighs, torso and head would go forward and we would be laying face down at a 90 degree angle with our feet still on the ground. Perhaps the chair would have an elevated chin rest at the front so we could prop our heads up to look at eachother while talking. weird thread but this is the answer.
