A Second Opinion On The Sex Of These Plants Would Be Appreciated

This is day 90 or so of veg growth and I believe the sex of these plants can be determined before I take them into the flowering cycle.

I would appreciate other opinions on the sex of these plants; I believe the first two are male and the second two are female. Is this correct?

Should I go ahead and trash the first two plants that appear to be male or as a rule of thumb should I let the 12 hour flower cycle confirm it for me?

Plant 1 - Can't quite see pre-flowers yet - But looks possibly male, hard to tell just yet

the FAQ's seem to be down they have great examples of flowering male and female
the first pic is female.............the males will usually show first

The plants are White Widow and were 45" tall. I topped them down at the 27" mark with the goal of having four main branches each supporting a main cola since they are all the same height. So far so good. Then there are several branches underneath the main four with the majority of these being tied down or chopped / cloned.

Holding all things constant it appears that the sweet spot with indoor veg growth is in the high 20's to the low 30's (inches) before diminishing rates of return set in.

Since this is my first grow I will go ahead and keep all the plants and let the flower cycle give me the exact answer. I assumed the first two were male since the second two plants appeared (almost obvious) to be female. Plus it will be a good learning experience with the hands on.

you are prob spot on, but id just hold back a little just incase, ive had the same myself at times females showing and other plants dont show, then it turns out they are male, but you just never know, they look nice and strong anyway.

It is probably too late, but maybe take cuttings of the top two and flower them in a seperate room (be careful not to pollinate your fems) to see what sex they are. I cant see the male flowers so you don't have to worry too much about pollen reaching your ladies, but even better you can cover the 'flowering' parts of your possible male plants with a paper bag to prevent any possible pollination.

Good luck! Nice big plants, will probably end up over 6ft when finished flowering! :clap:
