a spot of mold in huge dank cola

Well, I have a plant that has maybe 2 or 3 days left of flowering.... I noticed today there is a little spot of mold in this little nook near top of cola... urgh! wtf! I have super low humidity how could this happen? Also, it doesnt appear to have any mold anywhere else. If I carefully cut out the mold spot will the rest be fine????

IMO, u r better cutting off the whole cola and ditching it. and I wouls consider chopping now as bud mold/rot can spread pretty quickly. goodle bud rot and see if it matches

yer cut the whole cola, then cut mold out and dry the rest, keep an eye out for more mold,

Cut the whole cola? I think this happened becasue I have been waiting for this one plant to finish and I turned off the small osilating fan in there since there was only that one plant and I bet the decrease in air flow is what casused this.. cause my humidity is real low... ok, thanks guys, ill chop the whole 1 1/2 foot cola... Man, this was my fav plant so far, just a perfect looking monster... damn.. should still be ok right? I cut the little spot of mold out the rest looks good....

usually it is higher humidity which fungi like. post some pics

I cutthe cola up on my lunch break.. weird shit is.... the mold attacked a spot on the stem, and everything above that spot was ..... dry and "ready"... I smoked a piece right off the top of my live plant!!!!!!!! so, where the mold attacked the stem, i cut that piece out, and I cut up the rest of the cola and its basically perfect except that spot I removed.... below the mold damaged stem the plant was totally normal and fine... weird that the top was totally dry.. guess the mold ruined the stem so the plant couldnt get any food or water... that top is super strong too, I smoked some at lunch and Im still baked! Stronger than the Sensi Star I grew and that shit was devasting... Im psyched! Only lost about an 1/8 to the mold and got 4 coat hangers totally full, guestimating 3-4 zips...

Also I realized that i had turned off my ozone generater since I only had that one plant and i think the ozone helps kill the mold too.. so, lesson learned, gonna keep the ozone on a timer and throw in an extra osillating fan and Ill be golden./.// There is NOTHING WORSE than seeing that mold-bud-rot shit attacking your beautiful plant....
