So my girlfriend and I have been working like crazy and the only time one of us is guarenteed to be home is 10 o clock at night so that's when the light goes off. Ive been TRYING to do 20/4 because of my autos but i keep passing out and turningthem on in the morning when I wake up because the alarm isn't doing it. Will this cause herm or should I just leave them on 24/7 and see what happens with the autos? Thanks.

You're gana be better just leaving the light on 24 hours. An erratic light schedule will mess a plant up, even an autoflower.

Incase no one else has pointed it out, you need a timer. You can go to any store like Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. and buy this neat little thing.

But really though I bought one and it wasn't a three prong plug just a 2 and I was like WTF but then I went to sleep and left the light on for way too long.

leave the light on 24/0 until you get a proper timer then set the light schedule however you want it. its a auto flower itll do its thing even under 24 hrs of light.

for fucks sake man. snap the ground off the plug and plug it into the timer if you have to. if you can't figure that out, maybe toss the plant(s), lights, pots, hell, toss the whole nine yards, and keep buying grams off the local kid at the quickee mart. ;-)
