A test in progress.... Miracle Grow soil vs. Fox Farms soil. Is MG really that bad?

Mg is definetly hot but well into my second grow I have had only one problem with it and that was nute burn. On my first grow I had no problems (no transplant, final pot from seedling). This time I got nute burn but only after transplanting. I'm only growing two plants currently but the one with the nute burn I transplanted without flushing the new mg soil first, the one I flushed first I didn't have a problem with.

Keep in mind each strain is a bit different and even within a strain (that may not be fully stabilized).
That said, some plants are more susceptible (read delicate) to environmental factors than others.

I think I will be using Organic Mg for outdoor grow since I will need a bunch. With added nutes. Really the diff. isn't that much and this is from exp. What you put in them later is what sets them apart I believe.

i use mg all the time from start to finish and never lost a plant and got nice grows from it i did test the differance between mg and ff and the mg grew out much better imo it seems to me that ff drains to much but i have only been at growing for the past 2 years so im still getting my feet wet and still learning
