A whole lot of fresh leaf trim

I have about a shoebox and a half full of fresh trimmings off of a large female plant. I'm going to make a good batch of some cannaoil. Is it okay to use fresh trim, or should I dry it?

So no responses.. I just spent about 10 hours trimming and have a lot of trim to work with.

I was wondering, can I take a certain measured amount of vegetable oil and simmer the trim in that? Same concept as cannabutter?

bump dont have the answer but i am also curious. frying chicken and fries etc in thc cooking oil sounds quite enticing to me

I was thinking more along the lines of using the oil in cakes and salad dressings, i dont know about heating the oil to 300 degrees to fry something haha
