Just saw this thread. Good to see some local talk.
Saboo has moved on to a higher:eyesmoke: plane of existence. I may or may not have been cloned from what was left behind.

I'm growing away, still looking for all those little improvements that make the difference between good, great and transcendent. Still lots of Peak, plus some L13 and JOTI. Lots of home made seeds, some of which are being tested now.

I've also had good experiences with T&T. I prefer him over Hydro Lite, though he does run out of stuff that I need once in a while. No big deal, I try to stay stocked up so waiting a week or less usually isn't an issue.
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.

As most know, I'm in BC now, but did do almost 10 years in AB after moving from Toronto. I moved from AB to BC to start a sustainable lifestyle with my wife a couple of years ago. We moved to Northern BC, relatively close to Alaska.

I'm greatly appreciative of my fellows over to the east of me. I want to say thank you for accepting me into the AB forum even though I'm BC :)

There was a thread yesterday somewhere about fan leaf size, so I posted one. It was from an 8' Sour Diesel plant I had in my greenhouse, before I got evacuated by forest fire, and literally had to leave almost all of my strains behind.

I'm going to share it here. The white dots are ash from the forest fires raging less than 2.5km from my property. The green band on my wrist was my permit to go to my property for four hours each weekend to check the property, and inspect my fire suppression system. It was heartbreaking to walk away from. The entire area was blocked off by RCMP.

With the awesome folk here, I'll be back to full operation quicker than I could have expected.

Cheers.

Lived in Edmonton for 10 years, anyone here from southern Alberta?

HG, I know a Harold G from Edmonton, lol, prolly not the same guy.

Nice transition spek9, your living the dream. Too bad about the fire that must be gut wrenching. A Saudi Prince bought up a huge swath of land around pink mountain I believe for when "that" time comes.

Have my room pics up in a while when it's finished, taking forever!

After spending going on two years on a 500 acre property on a lake getting things set up for a self-sustainable lifestyle just to get booted due to everything burning to the ground, yep, it was beyond gut-wrenching to say the least.

I experienced the fire at Hwy 11 at Hwy 93N a few years back during my one of hundreds of visits exploring the east side of the Rockies, so I had familiarity with forest fire before I moved. Nobody expects to have such a thing at the edge of their property though ;)

Hey Alberta growers, I am interested in how everyone is setting up their grow spaces. If your anything like me my space is always changing. I’d love to see what ya got. Here’s my grow space, let’s see yours!
Jealous of the space you guys have, wife lets me have a corner in the basement..

Seedsman Gelat.OG and DNA strawberry banana around 4 weeks.

I'm blessed with a wife who wakes and bakes, and smokes all day, where I use only at night for my Restless Leg Syndrome to sleep, hitting the bong or a joint infrequently for recreational purposes.

She enjoys being in the garden, and she's my most valuable asset as a trimmer at harvest time.

Get the significant other to smoke more, and she might become more of an asset ;)

Anyone had a polyploid? Got one branch showing it, looking like less resin buildup vs everything else.
When I first moved into the place I'm in now, I didn't have my environment dialed in and it was too cold where my tents are (52F lights off), and two of four flowering plants had numerous bud sites that grew like that.

Now my lights-off temps are 58-60F, and I haven't seen that since.

Does the branch that the bud is attached to appear to be oval or flat instead of round?

I've had a few of them. Do you also have the flat wide stem(as opposed to round normal ones) leading up to it?
They look kind of cool but I don't think I ever harvested anything decent from one and would likely cull if I got one these days, or at least chop the branch. (my opinion only)
