about 3 weeks into first grow

so i started with about 15 seeds.
i made a pocket with some paper towels and sprayed it with a squirt bottle. put on a plate and cover with a dark cup so no light gets through.
after a couple days i put all of them in miracle grow soil. forgot about them the first day after i put them in soil, and checked 2 days later. had 3 sprouts alrdy! then the next 2 days came and so did 2 more sprouts.... so in all i have 5 sprouts...now they are about 5-12 inches tall. i put each one in a little plastic cup with some holes in the bottom. got a 5 gallon bucket and stuck all 5 plants in there. put some water in the bottom and let the babies grow. i dont know the exact date that i started...because ima stupid ass stoner....but theyve been in the process for about 3 weeks...until about 2 days ago the light cycle had been 24 hours under natural sunlight florescent tubes. now there switched to a flood light i bought from home depot. there starting to fight for space so i think i NEED A NEW SET UP.... ANY INFORMATION WILL HELP...I AM A NEWBIE. SUM1 SCHOOL ME AND MAKE ME A PRO PLEASE.

So, you're two days into the 12/12 cycle? If that's so, you're on the right track. Just keep those babies under 12/12 light for another 56 days or so and you'll have some nice bud. Assuming, however, that all of those plants are female -- which they aren't. So you're going to have to find out who's a male and who's a female. That's what sucks when you use seeds to start with. Anywho, keep them under 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness for another 56 days and you'll be cool ...

wadup spooks thanks for the info....there not on 12/12 yet ima go 18/6 let em get bigger for about 2 weeks then ill 12/12 them. ya i still gota sex them. hopefully after the first week of 18/6 i can tell. workin on pics.

u should put your plants in different buckets.

i would but i only have 1 light and i dont think its strong enough to be hung above 5 buckets and still reach the plants

just put them close to eachother.

update...
about 2 of the 5 plants are starting to yellow at the bottom leaves and are probably going to wilt to nothing.....on the first set of 3 leaves theres some yelow spots....is this a ph problem or nutrients? besides that there looking goood. in about 2 weeks ima switch from 18/6 to 12/12 and i still need some info on what kind of nuts to give the lesbians lol so if ne1 can help plz post some brand names... much apreciated

You're using Miracle Grow soil, so it has some nutes in it, good for at least the first month. Since you are about at that point, and going to flowering, you should use a good flowering formula, like Peter's 10-50-10.

I would use a good growth food first, until the third week of flowering, like the growth formula from Peter's 20-20-20.

Also, your light will not work well. An incandescent floodlight does not have the right spectrum to grow. The florescent tube would be much better if kept 1 inch above the top of the plant.
