All those white hairs should be brown before you start thinking about chopping.
Touching them will cause them to prematurely brown and doesnt make them done

I found an orange and brown pistol once. Some complete ass had left a perfectly fine Smith&Wesson in the rain for years. The cost to restore it was more than just replacing it. Sad.
