i want to breed a male and female lowryder (actually lowberry) and was wondering around how masny seeds each female plant will make
About how many seeds will a lowryder plant yield?

damn thats nice, now is there anything i need to know about breeding this is going to be my first grow and outdoors, do i just put the male and female plant next to each other and thats it?

well if the male matures before the female you could have problems need to make sure that the female pistes get powdered with pollen about 3 weeks into flowering if you have more than one male just plant one later than the other .. or if you can grow one indoors just collect pollen and use a clean paintbrush to apply pollen

I was looking at someones grow journal on another site and he got 182 seeds from one female i don't know what the normal amount would be though.

he probably only did a few bud sites...i saw a fully pollinated female and the guy had about 1-2 thousand, not counting the unmature ones....

I plan to do the same thing with lowryder, my first batch be for seeds and then the next few batches be for good smoke. Cheaper then buying new seeds for every grow..

The bad thing is Lowryder cant be cloned too easy or at all from what i hear.

I really haven't heard much on breeding lowryder besides its the best way to keep on having the plant without buying more seeds, I've only heard that you can't clone cuttings from the plant itself because of the short growing time it has.

i just finished with a LR seed harvest....pulled 36 seeds off it i think.
As soon as i pollenated the female (about one week after sex showed) The damn thing stopped growing up and started growing out.
So i ended up with a 6" tall plant that was FAT with seeds. The bud was ok but is much better without seeding.
I have another female thats about 12" right now and 2nd week into flower. I kinda wanna hit her just for the better genes.
The plants are unpredictable with the growth so you might wanna hit one or two ladies and make sure you keep the seeds seperate.
I highly recommend getting at least one seed harvest out of the way.
You can set these bad boys up in your veg chamber(if you use MH) and just let them go. They are VERY easy to grow and very nice smoke as well.
P.S. This is an original LR grow and not LR2. All of your grows are going to be inbreed so that may account for the extream difference in tallness of the plants.

agreed. i know severall peeps that say its easy to clone lr2's but again its pointless since the plant dosent have any true veg stage. and it being a clone will continue to move onwards with full flowering and end up being a little bitty toothpick with bud on it.

i seeded a ''lowrider ak-47 hindu kush cross'' and that was only a few branches and i got at least a hundred. the seeds took six weeks to be ready from when i pollinated if you do the whole plant youll get hundreds. if you only pollinate some of it youll have some seedless to smoke also
