about how tall from seed..?

about how tall could i let a mj plant grow from seed in a regular styrofoam cup before it had to be transplanted into the ground or a bigger pot??

depends on sativa or indica, but height isn't the best judge for this, overall plant growth would be a better measurement. After about the first 2 or 3 sets of leaves come in it's time to transplant, and look at it this way, the bigger the roots the bigger the plant, so if you're going for bud production, limiting root space will severely limit your bud production and overall plant growth for that matter.

i don't plan to flower in the cups it's just that i wanted something to go by for building a small greenhouse to start seedlings off .. i will be starting in the small styrofoam cups and then taking them out of the greenhouse when the out grow the cups..

i just needed an aprox. height to build the greenhouse because it will be an outdoor grow in the woods so everything i bring out will have to be pre cut so i don't make too much of a mess of the spot

it's the strain and the way you grow it this is 52"+ and was grown 12/12 from seed.
