About these CFL's

Hi, I understand what different types of bulbs im going to be needing but i got a simple Q...
Can i use say a 42W CFL bulb in an ordanary socket that would normaly take a 15W incadescent?

ordinary sockets take a wide array of bulbs... 42w is rather small when comparing to incandescents.. personally i think you are good to go

You're probably fine with the socket you have now but you could always go to a Lowe's or Home Depot, or probably even Walmart and get yourself a new lamp setup that is just a plug, cord, socket and metal lamp shade for
