about to clone 4 plants. i was given MG seedling starter potting soil and garden safe take root hormone powder. i have a sterilized razor to make the 45* angle cut. i know im suppose to put the cuttings in a glass of water and then put them into the hormone powder. i have a little humidity dome kit im gonna place them in. was planning on just making the cut putting it in water then into the hormone powder then directly into a 2inch pot with the seedling starter soil. and put it into the humidity dome and mist every so often? and do i mist the soil and the foliage or what?? i know what i have isnt the best to work with but its all i have. i could mix it with a little bit of MG organic garden soil i have left over but let me know whats best. all i have is MG sorry it was free and i dont have the money for other stuff. people say it will work its just not quality marijuana soil

It's good you're being cautious, but cloning is pretty easy. I have used cloners but I have had much better results with rockwool cubes, soil is just another medium to hold water so same difference. The thing I like about cubes is you can pick them up and see if the roots have popped, but whatever, just my preference. Mist often, at least twice a day, more can't hurt. The only thing I would be concerned with is soil being too nutrient rich for cloning, but I'm a hydro grower so I don't know...

Good luck.

If your plant is only 6 weeks old you'll probably only get a couple of clones if you haven't topped it. If you're making a mom, top it for more branching.

Make sure your donor mom is at least 5 weeks old. Best results come when you wait long enough for the clone stem to have a hole thru the middle.

Good luck, BigSteve.
