I'm very close to harvesting my first plant (woohoo!!!) and wanted to run something by you:

It's normal to see def during flush right? I have two weeks or so on my Hijack auto and wanted to make sure it wouldn't effect the bud during this time.

You did a great job. See how easy it is to grow this plant? Now, take what you learned with your first grow and duplicate the regiment and maybe add some low stress training on your second run...increase the yield!

What do you mean by gimmick? What's that comment based on?

Not asking to be condescending, I'm asking cause I really don't know and would like to hear your reasoning. Thanks

To me, I think of it like this: if I get dirt on my hands water will only be sufficient if my hands have minimal dirt. Anything more than that and I'd probably opt to use some sort of cleaning agent......this analogy may be oversimplified, but it was the first thing that came to mind.

That looks really good dude. Got some color change at the tip of the cola :)
Sorry for the question, but is color change at the tip of a cola a bad or good thing? --so embarrassed to ask that question.

It looks like its turning purple where the light hits the main cola the most.

If you were to sell it, you could bag up the tip and call it mcguilla fruitcake or w.e else you wanted lol. Great bag appeal.
People love to see purple around here.

Does it help to have a dark period before harvest. My research has yielded me mixed results and opinions. Would autoflowers even benefit from the dark period? They've been on 24/0 sched from seed. Thanks again for your help
Also, do I hang dry in dark or light??

most give it at least 12 hours of darkness before chopping...for any plant

you hang dry in the dark...the darker the better but with some/slight air movement, I use a bathroom with the vent fan on.

Another quick question. I'm one week into my two week flush. Ppms down to 200. If I wanted to hold off cutting her down an extra 5 days would it be a problem? She hasn't had any nutes for over a week... So it would be about a three wk flush vice two weeks... Do I run any risks?
