Good morning RIU! i am about to start the flowering stage in the next 2 weeks. From seedling to this, i am completely impressed and stoked. they would not have survived if it wasnt for all the help i have recieved on RIU. so informational and helpful members. i remember when i was asking all sorts of questions bc my FULL MOON strain was a runt. waited for 2 weeks using only 1/4 nutes. then after that, it blew up. 17'' tall and passed up all other plants :bigjoint:

in order:

full moon #1- 16'' tall 20'' wide. very bushy and medium height. this was the runt i was explaining about 35 days ago. it didnt get past 6'' tall until about 3weeks ago. while others were 12-13'' tall, she wasnt even 6!!! now she has the biggest fans ive seen! topping method

original chronic- short and full plant. fim method

full moon #2- 17'' tall 18'' wide. not as wide but more full than FM #1. topping method

aurora indica- 19" tall and 18'' wide! i am more than impressed with this one. it is just purely amazing. fim method

last pic is my set up.... 600hps 2 mounted 7'' fans. and 4 oscillating fans in the room along with air purifier and carbon filter.

now for the flowering stage.... research, here i come :leaf: i just wanted to show the progression in the last 3weeks. using full strength nutes twice a week have gotten these bad boys to explode.

so to all those "slow growing plants" and "worried that they wont grow"... GIVE THEM TIME AND HAVE PATIENCE! i just gave them some TLC and rest and they have treated me well. i will keep updated when colas start growing:lol:

Make sure ur carbon and nutes are fresh and ur mind is ready to be blown. Be positive ur humidity will be sufficient before u flower. Check for any and all light leaks before starting. And I personally like to wait til their a week in flower to stop the veg nutes and start the flower and I always give them a real good flush between changing from vwg nute to flower. Best of luck hope u pull a wheelbarrow full.

One question...no light leaks from the window...how about from the door? I mean, the door is obvioulsy shut but there are light cracks in the corner. Would this be an issue?

Also you talk about humidity...what should the optimal humidity be, and how would I read that?

Sorry, im going through this same stage..

Lookin good jdubness!

i give my plants 24-36 hours of pure dark, uninterrupted darkness to really tell themn its time to change...I have had great results with that way every time.

Haha thanks man. Basically u just wanna give them 3x the volume of water than soil so if ur pots are 1 gallon pots give 3 gallons straight water then water when it feels dry as u normally would from there starting the flower nutes on the next water at 3/4 strength. That is just the way I personally was doing it in soil for years and years. Also many people do 24 hrs dark before flower. I found it unneccesarry and pointless personally (I mean it doesn't get dark for a day in nature signaling bloom) but others swear by it. I do say leave them in the dark for 2-3 days at the very end before u chop. They look amazing though can't wait to see how they perform.

Do ur best to block out the light. A very small amount may not hurt depending on strain but the more light the less yield and higher chance of a hermie or re veg occuring. Weather stripping is often a quicj cheap and easy fix to light leaks and can be found about anywhere even at wally world whil ur down there getting this:

U can buy a hygrometer. Like 5 bucks at wally world it will record temps for u as well as humidity optimal flower humidity is below 50% I shoot for a nice 35% but anything below 50 with proper venting should avoid mold and mildew which could cost u ur entire corp optimal temps would be 75 day 62-65 night farenheight hope that helped sorry to thread jack

Also a towle under the door is a timeless classic. But the weather stripping works for the sides of doeers very well and is maybe 3 bucks a roll
