They say if you go over 12 volts into an L298n motor driver, to pull the jumper out and not use the 5v regulated output to power any controllers.. So yeah, that's probably the main problem.. :eyesmoke:

I'll have to start a new thread soon. All about cannabis and mad ultrasound experiments..

Time for a chop up ,here is some Obi Wan Kush from Canuk Seeds from last grow 723d2eb0-ab49-4c4c-b017-33ab1cca5b03.jpg
Buds are dense and tight able to support a 2ltr jar with weed without crushing the buds (dried and cured to 62%rh ) 15e9f621-88da-4883-98d9-790d38327b31.jpg Time to get altered woohoo.gif

After unsoldering the transducers I had in wrong (and making a mess of the old part from the heat), I decided to reprint a whole new array design that is way more solid. Got it all done right this time 4 sure, all in phase with correct polarity.

I found a new wiring schematic that will allow me to use the step up converter I got and also push 30v into my arrays without affecting the rest of the circuits that need much lower voltages.. Got it all wired up and ready for testing, only to smoke both of my arduino nanos.. I forgot to change the power input wire from the 5v pin over to the “Vin” pin of the nano controller, which can actually accept the 12v I’m giving it.. I even heard a little pop on the first one I fried. Oops! There should be a warning on the guide I followed.. Ah well.

Looks like I gotta order a few more cheap nano boards now, so I can finally see it work, now that I swapped the wire to the right place anyway.

Glad you sorted the problem and have it close to working ,sad about the arduino nanos at least they are cheap.
Looking forward to seeing a suspended gnat
