I have to agree, running an oversized filter or just running my fan half speed seems to get all the smell.
I came here to ask the same thing. I have the same fan/filter setup in two tents (one is peppers) - and I vent into my backyard under my deck using a dryer exhaust vent setup. I can smell skunk when I'm outside in the backyard and depending on which way the wind blows, sometimes in the front yard.
It's legal to smoke in NY now so I'm not super worried about it (still about a year and a half from legal grow), but I would like it to be no smell. When you add another filter to the exhaust like suggesting - on my setup it would be outdoors. That isn't ideal is it?
Any suggestions from what I have now?no in your case a bigger capacity carbon filter would be better imo

Fucking clever. I wasn't sure what I'd do with my old fan. This is the ticket.More difficult given your tent size.
Ideally...
Run an additional stand-alone fan/filter - scrubbing the odor inside the grow space 24/7.
Then even when you open tent door - virtually no odor wafting thru the house.
