Accidentally cut my plant

I took some shears back to my plant because I was planning on cutting down a few of the other overgrowing plants around mine. When I was cutting around the plant I accidentally snipped my plant right below the leaves. It still is about 3 inches tall and has 2 baby leaves. Now my question is will this regrow leaves and continue to grow? I also took the top part that was cut off and pushed it into the soil right next to it so it was standing up, just like it is done with cloning. Do you think either of these will work and start to regrow?

There still are two leaves on the stem but they are the small round leaves.
Is there any hope for the top half that was cut off that I stuck back into the soil?

What you need to do is to recut the stem at a 45 degree angle and dip it into some kind of cloning solution. Pop that puppy into a small rockwool cube and mist with water daily, squirt the small cube too to keep it moist. It takes some practice to pull it off. I had a feminized blueberry plant dampen off and I knocked it over accidently. It was mush at the base. I cut the plant above the mush and figured I would try and keep it. All though I knew it was probably going to die. But to my surprise after less than a week it has sprouted new roots! Its a survivor. 2/3 of the leaves fell off and it was on the brink of death. Its only a few inches tall but its a fighter.

This may sound stupid but it has worked for branches that have broken in an LST or SCROG. If caught right away u can tape the plant back together real tight so it has a perfect seal wherre it was cut and it should heal itself. I don't know if this works on complete cut offs but it does work for half broken branches]. I have mis understood something I read and could be completely wrong, but it sounded like this guy did it all the time when he broke a branch in scrog.

yeah i will be more careful next time lol I was really pissed off. Luckily i have a few more plants and plan to plant a few more seeds. I was thinking about taping it on but i figured it would probably be more of a percent chance for it to just reroot. Thanks guys
