So my lights were set to turn on at 9:30 pm and shut off at 9:30 am... im 2.5 weeks into flowering and i accidently moved my timer and it got all messed up, and its not very exact... So when I tried to set it back to where it was its now turning on at 9:46 and shutting off at 9:46...

would this possible 16 minutes of extra light effect the plants? would the sudden difference cause any problems? it's still getting 12/12...

it will be fine... if cannabis was that sensitive to the photo period we'd all be fucked everytime the power went out...

the danger is from prolonged exposure to intense light (like HID light, sunlight, very close cfl's) that interrupts the dark cycle for extended periods...
like a noob grower checking on the plants when lights are out.
its not pitch black in nature, but the sun doesnt shine at midnight either... ( at least where cannabis grows wild)
bumping your light sched by a few minutes, even hours isnt going to harm your ladies... at worst it might add an extra day or 2 to the flowering cycle.
