ACE Malawi Mainline chopped

A single ACE Malawi in a 10gal pot using Sunshine Advanced #4 and Botanicare Pure Blend Pro chopped in half. I aggressively pruned to avoid under canopy larf. I could have done better at managing height, better next time. Also had mild light burn as I moved Chinese LEDs too close mid flower. Sorry girl.. your sisters will enjoy Cree 3590 goodness.

The upside, she packed on the buds, especially for Chinese LED. She's nice and heavy wet, branches all needed support. I'll dry trim the rest, off to dry she goes..

Yep 10-13 weeks per ACE. She went 12 weeks and could have gone another but I had to chop this week. Great strain she was aggressive as hell. she packed it on when I added a Mars 400 to a 1200 main in a 3 x 3. Unfortunately I created a hotspot and fried many of her best cola fans. :( I'm def running it again after light rework

I dont get it mate. Yer knocking the chinese leds and sayin there bad but your plant proves otherwise? I'll go chinese led's over cree any day. Great looking harvest ya got there. Enjoy the smoke.

Thanks, yeah I shouldn't knock them as they've worked; I'm just a tad irritated that 5 blues have gone out on my 6 month old panel.

Nice crop pal, congrats. What is this Cree 3590, a led set up ?Which strain was that?

Thanks friend. Cree CXB3590 is a large LED that can handle ~50-100watts. Very efficient compared to HPS, near perfect spectrum, and doesn't needs to be 2-3ft from canopy. DIY lights kits available from Timber Grow Lights:

The strain is ACE Seeds Malawi, a 100% landrace sativa. Was very impress genetics, she was a beast.
