Actinovate? Powdery mildew

Eagle 20 will cure and prevent it. Just don't harvest within 2 weeks. I used to constantly get PM, Eagle 20 got rid of it and didn't cause any stress or nutrient sensitivity. Now I use every round in veg as preventative.
I considered using this stuff, until I researched it.

Old thread, ^^^^^ bad info. Very dangerous stuff.
two weeks is nowhere near enough time.
get just a drop on your skin, and wait for lymphoma.etc.......
contacted them myself. This stuff is bad news for your meds.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I use Actinovate on 5 different strains from clone to late flower, and it is really great. I've never had any negative result, and I use it 3-4 times the dosage rate. It's simply a concentrated beneficial bacteria in a powder form, so you want to add it to some chlorine-free water as not to kill the bacteria. You can tell it's bacteria because if you leave it in a spray bottle for more than a day, it really starts to smell funky. I had all sorts of fungus problems before PM, which is strange because they popped up after 3 years of growing fungus free. Plus I have great ventilation, air-movement and humidity. I think it's because my moms get over crowded in their tent right before I it's time to cut clones. Anyway, it suppressed all fungi, including PM. If I see any thing starting to return, I mix a quart and do the whole garden. I spray every 7-10 days as a preventative. I like it better than my sulfer burner...

If you don't want to use Eagle 20, there is a weaker version made but Spectricide called Imunix. It will work and it is a much lighter dose of the same stuff. Personally I have never had powdery mildew in a garden that keeps humidity under control and has good air flow. If you didn't bring the powdery mildew into your room through clones or such and you get it more than once, you need to see if you have a deadspot with airflow or if your humidity is to high (should be under 50% in flower). Good luck....

I know it is a late response but sounds similar to my situation. Running 6 strains. Using activonate to keep pm at bay. Few questions seeing if you have any experience with it. Ive never dosed more than twice the amount but I was curious if you use a wetting agent. I spray up to 6 weeks and run a dehumidifier hard for the last 3 weeks to keep it at bay since i am doing perpetual, what is the latest you spray? Also, do you have any experience mixing activonate with other beneficials such as true bloom or another microbacteria.

I also run a perpetual harvest a la Al B. Fuct, every 2 weeks. I don't use a wetting agent or mix the product with any other bennies, and this is my logic behind the decision - The product is made to be sprayed on plants, if it needed a wetting agent I feel they'd say so or add one themselves. I think some wetting agents can be harmful to bennies, I've only used wetting agents for spraying non-living solutions like Liquid Light. Also, mixing bennies will encourage competition among the different bacteria, so other bennies added to Actinovate will compete with it by eating its bacteria, thus diluting its effect. Actinovate's bacteria is formulated to control fungi that is harmful to plants, so I want the full effect as the shit is expensive. I now buy the $90+ bag of it, it is much more economical than buying those smaller portions. I still love the product, and use it consistently in my garden. Hope this helps, and good luck...
