Add lighting or trim bottom growth?

I have 4 blueberry cheese plants 3 days into flowering and they are pretty bushy. I have 460 actual watts of mixed spectrum cfls all above the plants so the growth on the lower part of the plants isn't getting much light. Should I add a few cfls shinning upwards or maybe just start trimming lower growth?

Add a lot of sidelighting or lollipop them is my suggestion.

I run a (or two) 15 watt 12" floro tube right up underneath the bottoms pointing up.. it's only likely in the 750 lumen range.. I think they are 5000k's..

Just that little tiny bit really shines through the leaves. It is like steroids for y our more powerful upper lights, bouncing the light around all that more.

I absolutely notice when I do, and when I don't run them...

Just random thoughts.. never know when a guy may have one of those ol floro tubes in the garage handy ..

Really I wouldn't think that little lighting would have much of an effect. When you lollipop is there anything specifically I would need to do or way to cut or do you just cut all the bottom branches off?

when I lollipop i clean all the insides of the branches bare and take off the small lower nodes that cant reach the top anyway but you can do it however you like just try not to cut up more than like 50% of the plant or itll stress them too much with cfl's i would just add more lighting and not cut them too much stress add the extra lights and youll get more weight and less shock so... even more weight

Your plants are a bit taller than mine.. I run about 300 watt CFL (give or take).. you can see how that little 750 lumens at the bottom lights things up down there .. if I turned it off it is pretty dark down there.... light loves to bounce off light..

I picked up 6 more 23w 2700k cfls with 3 clip light fixtures and "Y" adaptors. I'm going to add them this afternoon, I will be sure to post pics. Thanks for the advice fellas
