Adding supplemental lights to the floor of the flowering room

I've got 6 lights right now, and want to beef up the bottom nugs a little more. I thought an inexpensive way would be to add T5 Strip Lights around the bottoms of the floor and in between each pack of plants.

That's what I found so far -- You can do veg or flower lighting depending on which bulb you pick out. It looks like 7 would do the trick, three down the middle of the lights, and then fill out the sides as well. You can daisy chain them with an included cable to eliminate a big power cord web...

Has anyone tried this with success, or can think of an alternative product to do this with? I dont know much of the technical details on lighting other than I love 1000w bulbs hanging in the sky for all the plants to enjoy. :)

Thanks!!

Never tried them on the floor. I put three "300" watt led lights on the sides of my flower room (they only draw around 250 watts.) I did this in conjunction with a 600 watt hps. It made the plants much bushier without having to fight with stretching so much. Try it though and let everyone know how it works.
