MM I used to love my Xanax. Till one day the doctor tried to write me a script and the computer said: "WARNING: TOO MANY SCRIPTS ISSUES! DANGER WILL ROBINSON! WARNING!" .. The withdraws were worse than any other drug I've detoxed from too. Nightmares every night for weeks.

The doctors :) In oz, we have a national DB hooked up to the chemists/doctors or soemthing that lets doctors know whether you've been issues 'far too many' scripts in 'far too shorter period' :)

The fuckn 'puter foiled my plan for xanax-induced drooling on myself :)

But, at the time, I was woofin down 17 tablets day some days, I remember goin outside and heaving cos I'd obviously started overdosing, .. they're just so NICE< it's hard to stop - like Pringles :)

Anyhoo, I won't touch scripts or pharms now. Cannabis, tobacco, and caffeine's all I care for anymore :)

I actually wish I could find an older-schkool, late 80's/early 90's strain that's not so stupendously strong.

Back 15 years ago, I could have 4-5 cones and go jump off a bridge and swim and fish and all. Now, the buds are so strong, I have to build-up when I get each new ounce, to get my tolerance up in a way, I guess, before I can just suck-back a full cone, and still function with respectable levels of energy.

I DID think maybe it's just ME that's changed.. Maybe an extra 5-10% THC isn't such a thing, but I've stopped metabolizing the drug the same way. *shrug* ..

I'm only 36 though, not 66, and thin and agile as I was at 19 - well pretty damn near. So I don't thing it's cos I'm Sooo oooold :)

yeah they caught me with my pain killers before i started smoking pot. was blasting thru vicodin, somas, valium and percs. started catching up with me and my kidneys. broke my back when i was young. rods and pins will make me miserable for the rest of my life. they wouldnt refill my skripts anymore. horrible detox. but at least i got my weed now and my kidneys are back up to 100%. :)

Its a strip of bacon embedded into a pancake (also known as griddle cakes)... dip them in some maple syrup and you got one hell of a breakfast. The whole Aunt Jemima thing was an awful racist marketing ploy used in the US to market Aunt Jemima pancake batter and syrup back in 60-80's

I'd love to go to the States one day, just to try out all that weird, fast, cheap, american "easy" food :)

We get some of em here, but they're usually completely 'australianized', and I've never even SEEN a Twinky ffs. I'm missing out :(

Twinkies, hash-browns, that bacon thing,.. we just don't GET that sortta stuff in Oz - at all. Maybe some little novelty deli's might stock a few things, but I'm yet to find a shop sells american foods really.

Though, like alot of Western democratic countries, the trend in Oz these days is leaning - constantly more and more - towards lighter and lighter food. More fresh plant-matter, less starch and fat.

MdDonalds is considered 'uck' now by a great number of people, whereas 15 years ago, well.. no, people still thought it was empty calories then :)

I wish more people would write SOMETHING in their "Location" profile-field: Make it much easier to get an idea what cultures are behind the people :)

These comfort foods are tasty but I would trade them for Morton Bay Bugs and King Georg whiting any day.
