Advanced Nutrient strength?

Does anyone else notice that the AN line of Sensi and Connoisseur run rich? I am finding that my plants don't like the recommended dosages. I get the telltale signs of overfeeding. Like right now, I'm 6 weeks into flower and should be around 1100 ppm but at 800 ppm my plants started to curl. I dropped down to 700 and they aren't flinching as bad. Anyone else experience this? Other than that, my buds looking sweet!

the recommended dosages are just guidelines. They can not possibly try to forsee every particular growing environment, strain characteristics and skill level of grower. Two identical plants, from the same mother in the same room, of the same age will have very different metabolisms if one is grown in soil and the other full on hydro. Its important to be good at reading your plants, not labels.

Check out there nutrient calculator on their website.

Start with a low feeding schedule, usually that wont burn them. If it does, slowly keep moving down until you get your plant dialed in.

Cant wait for their new PH PPM perfect stuff to hit the stores, hopefully stuff like this will be a thing of the past. One can only hope :D

Keep in mind also Advanced uses a .7 conversion factor in their metering as they explain. Some people have .5 conversion meters and use .7 conversion nute levels and end up over-fertilizing. But of course if you use the stated EC , your OK

Very good points.......I have 3 different strains and one definately loves a stiff drink. The others not so much. I've found a happy medium and now everything is money...
