Advanced Nutrients is begging for money

We all know there are only two kinds of people on this forum: those who fanatically hate Big Mike, and Big Mike. Right?
No there is at least three types. Add to your list people who have never heard of "Big Mike".

I must admit that I just quickly browsed the original post here, but banks don't care what business you're in to give you money. If you're $50 mil a year revenue and as long as you don't have extreme outstanding debt, they'll give anyone money.

It's a legitimate business, which means that it doesn't matter to the bank what the fuck your product is. They're in the business of making money by loaning money to anyone who has the potential to pay it back.

They could be selling cow shit as fertilizer, and as long as they have income, the banks will lend.

It'd be funny if it weren't so sad.

People whine because Advanced Nutrients costs too much. So they make cheaper products like years ago and people completely ignore that and keep whining about how expensive some of the products are.

People vilify them for making so many products as if AN forced you to buy them all or something. Then, when they say they're going to reduce the number of things they sell, people either deliberately or ignorantly hear the opposite:
what?!, 75 MORE crap bottles
It's pretty clear that there are some people who hate Advanced Nutrients for other than rational reasons. It doesn't matter what they do, these people are going to hate AN.

Advanced Nutrients products work for me. They're not expensive if you use proper application rates and are intelligent enough to figure out that it's possible to leave some of the products at the store. The quality and size of my harvest more than makes up for any expense I have at checkout beyond what I might spend on a cheaper brand. But because I don't use what certain other people think I ought to use, I'm a rube who's getting "taken" by AN's marketing. Marketing doesn't grow bud. I'm happy with what I'm doing and so are a lot of other growers. So why isn't that enough for some people who feel it's their duty to convince us we're stupid and we need to save a few bucks to grow using things we've already tried and weren't as happy with?

I'm not trying to convince anyone they shouldn't be happy with their plants. If you're happy with what you grow and what you grow it with, fantastic. Keep doing what you do if that makes you happy. All I ask is the same (un)common courtesy in return.

You would think that our community of all the possible sub-groups of our society would be the one most likely to accept other people doing things the way that makes them happy even if those aren't the things that make us individually happy. So why is it that some of us absolutely cannot accept that Advanced Nutrients fills a niche in the market that makes themselves and certain growers happy? Why is it necessary to waste so much energy on hate?

Is it just me or to all AN haters come across as Republicans? Lots of hot air about what's wrong, but no solutions about what's right? LOL

I like AN's products, and could give a flying whatever about who's in charge or what they're doing to make money. I give them my money because their products work for me. And it's not like the blowhard statements of everyone else are going to change my opinion.

Just like I don't expect my opinions to change what anyone is doing.

Can't we all just grow and support each other in that?
