Advanced Substitutions

Ok, I finally kicked in for the whole AN line, and I'm pleased to say the least with the finished product. I'm running connoisseur, big bud, b52, bud candy, nirvana and overdrive in FFOF. Not really impressed with bud candy, so I was thinking what could I replace this expensive shit with? Has anyone tried big blooming bat guano or hi brix molasses from earth juice? Vitamino from botanicare? Trying to substitute the things I can. Any help would be appreciated

Why cant you just drop the bud candy all together, and replace it with nothing? Your already not impressed with it, but you have great buds.

I've tried alot of sweeteners and the only one that increased my yield was botanicare raw. That's why I was asking about hi brix from EJ. I've also found they help with resin production

Still looking for that WOW factor. And I've tried it with less and have had less than stellar results. I've also had good runs with inexpensive lines like Dutch master.

I like to keep thing simple I have had great success using Veg+Bloom its a one part power that works great. But for more flexibly and still being able to keep it on the cheep side of growing I would check out the nutrients from "Perfect Grow"

Be careful mixing non AN products. There formula is PH balanced only when used with their product line. I went thru it already, tried using some non AN late flower additives and my ph went F'ing crazy, I couldn't figure it out until I dumped the res and went to just AN base, then I started adding my extras. Once I put in the non AN stuff, ph went off, and I couldn't get it back. It was trying to buffer itself too much, and me adding ph up/down was just making it swing out worse. Just a heads up.

I don't run AN anymore, I'm all Botanicare.
