My brother is diagnosed with a brain tumor. after reading much success about oil we decided to try an aeroponic set up because the sooner we can harvest the better chances we have. I also have 3 plants in soil as back up but unfortunately they are not feminized and don't think 3 plants would be enough oil anyway.
I'm at your mercy, please don't skim over, I want to thoroughly explain my situation clearly. And hope you can help.
(2.5 week old seedlings in diy aeroponics) I fought of very beginning stages of root rot by dipping all six of my plants roots Into 1/2 cup of 3% h202 mixed with 1 gallon of water for 2 minutes. Then transferred to a temporary root spa with a 60 gal bubble stone and 1/4 cup of h202 to 1 gal of water ratio.
I soaked them for 2 hours while thoroughly cleaning aeroponc table. Unfortunately my temporary home didnt hold up so well so at one point all 6 plants were fully submerged for a couple minutes until I realized they fell to the bottom. I rinsed them off (leaves and all) under non ph'd water. Didn't ph it because I was scared and panicked thinking it was going to kill my leaves.
I then put them back in there newly cleaned home with only ph'd 5.8 water for an 30 min Then added 380 ppms of gh 3 part and diamond nector. I started off at 200 and worked my way up to 380 the past couple days. But I've always had a problem with bottom leaves being yellow from start.
To make matters worse as if it wasn't stressed enough, I accidentally ran this new clean fresh solution at 4.7 ph for 2 1/2 hours. I raised it back up to 5.8 with tap water and kept my ppms at 380 by adding more nutes. I also added DM zone to prevent root rot.
Later that night those yellow leaves twisted up and turned straight brown and crispy ( where h202 ate slightly spotted leaves after sinking in the tub) so I cut them off. Its been over 34 hours and its still droopy maybe worse and struggling and lower leaves are getting yellower.
GH says to run nutes at 3 -400 ppms for first week seedlings. Im at 380 ppms (not including 140 from the tap)
Is it nute lock?
Feed it more?
Less?
Foiler feed? If so I have my gh nutrients and also dutch master nutrients including silica/liquid light/penitrator any tips on a recipe with these? .
My gut says leave it be, but I just want to know if I can help it along. My brother cant afford to loose these plants. The oil may not help at all, it may buy him 1 week, maybe more. Regardless it upped hos spirits and is giving him hope. I just hope I dont ruin that. Do you think they will survive? Im very appreciative.
