Go to your local hardware store and get some cfl bulbs and one of these -------> d3deafb2-e591-475d-a7b0-adef8bd1fbff_300.jpg View attachment 2606682464a18c6-ca07-4d69-aabf-466331d2388e_300.jpgyou can also get the bulb socket splitters do you can put 2 bulbs in each one of those. If you don't have enough light they will stretch a lot and not have a very weak stem. Plus you would be able to hang them and raise them as needed. If you can get something reflective on the walls it wouldn't hurt.

does that air purifier move the air pretty good? A fan blowing in the general direction of your plant would strengthen it for when the bud starts to form.

What nutrients are you using?

Yah dude focus on getting better lighting first, those clamp reflectors as shown above are great for just starting out! for nutes I would reccomend the general hydroponics flora line up.Pretty darn simple.

yeah i was told to line the walls with tin foil for light reflection, right now i'm using fruit tea (learned how to make it off of the organics 101 forum thread). the air purifier moves the air really well, it has three settings (low, med and high) i used to use it as a fan for myself before i had a fan to use. i put a few sticks in the flower pot and wrapped it with tin foil. it keeps the light reflected in, the moisture in and keeps it pretty warm. it's grown quite a bit since it did that.

Sorry that the pictures are so poor, the first one is the better of the two. they're good enoguh to show. i also put a small towel over the top to keep the heat in.

Use something better or just don't bother. This has to be the worst attempt at growing I've ever seen. Your better off leaving the plant by a window.

In my opinion I would recommend using something other than aluminum foil like mylar. Not saying that I'm by any means an expert but from what I've always heard aluminum foil can create hot spots on plants especially when it gets all wrinkled like yours is. Basically the logic behind it is that the wrinkled foil doesn't reflect the light evenly and can create "beams" of light that focus on small areas of your leaves rather than a broad wave of reflected light that kinda gently lights up everything, not to mention it holds the heat really well which could lead to heat problems later on.

NO TIN FOIL!!!!! Tin foil belongs in your kitchen not the growroom! It reflects heat not light=NO GOOD

White paint is cheap and the best

i agree.. i figured the tin foil would suck for reflecting the light.. but i kept it on because it's been keeping the plant warm. it's still kind of cold here. i'm trying to grow without actually spending any money. i plan on just putting the plant outside in the greenhouse once the weather warms up.

most (if not all) of my questions end up with the same answer, go buy this or that. i just need to keep it alive until the weather is nicer
