Advice on re-planting seeds

Sad story. I found out I had planted my seeds to far down. So I went through each one and replanted about 1/4''. Using same soil, didn't water since soil felt nice and moist, but I believe I lost a seed of my good bud >.<.

I'm curious, is there anything I should do now that I have replanted?

Also, exactly what does a seed do before it hits the surface? I found something that resembled a taproot but it looked like the seed was gone. I decided on the safe side to plant this. Hoping it's the seed.

take clones off of the good smoke once they get tall enough
I don't understand. I'm not worried about getting more plants. I'm worried about what I need to do now that I replanted. Should I wait? Is sunlight good for them? Re-water?

if the soil is very little damp then water it a bit.

I would perfer indirect light for a bit or Flo Tubes that are low wattage to make sure that you don't burn the new seedlings

So basically, since it's pretty damp. Don't water it and keep lighting schedule?
yup but in a way I would kinda do a bit of indirect light to make sure that you don't burl the new growth streching is ok if your gona use it as a mother plant or you want a bigger yeild

Meh I'm using a 400w HPS. There's nothing else I can use. Getting 400w MH on monday. Curious, do you think my seeds will survive? They've only been down there a day and a half.

I've had my girls with wilting and I think lack of calcium and there's still doing pretty good so there's a chance that they will still live vice it time

It sounds like you got a little bit impatient.... You should have never disturbed that poor seed in its little soil crib. However, if you replanted the thing after you pulled it out, it might be ok. I hope you planted the taproot down. If the roots haven't been too badly damaged, and you keep the soil moist, it should show in the next couple days. Keep your 400W about 3 feet away, and then slowly bring it down on the seedling until you get it where you want it. If it dies, learn the lesson: don't mess with a germinated seed until it has sprouted!

Meh, I wasn't impatient..I was just pure wrong in how I buried them. I buried them WAY too deep. They got absolutely no light and now one sprouted :). Hoping the rest will too.
