I have a 1000 watt mh eye bulb digital ballast, 24 hours switch half voltage 500 watt will cost me 57 a month . or I can run full power 18 hours a day 86 dollars . will not run full power 24 hours a day, 114 a month , . lamp is in a cool tube so I can get with in 10 inches or closer from plants, only vegging them 1.5 feet tall under this light. what is the best choice , I know it may come down to a matter of opinion on this one. im going for fast growth . always used 24 hours in the past when I was not as concerned about electric, but when you run 3 of these fuckers you see the numbers add up. to sum it half power 24 hours or full power 18 hours full power experienced growers what are you thinking ?
