Ok, DWC, 600 Watts, just under 3 foot high......

just over a month on veg in DWC

Should I trim and if so how much? Should I top at this stage to limit growth or at this age it does what?

Looks to me like you have a decent canopy shape. If you have room for the stretch I would let it go. If not, I would just pinch the top about an inch down. Don't pinch it off but bruise it badly. That way she will work on fixing the damage at first. You will still get some stretch but not as much.
Trimming and topping are really a matter of preference and need of the individual grower and setup.

if its just a single plant under a 600 i wouldn't bother trimming the bottom as the light should have loads of space to penetrate.if it was up to me i would tie the tops down(lst) and veg for another 2 weeks to maximize the amount of bud sites, then you would yield a fair bit more

how much room do you have between the plant top and the light? 3ft in veg = 6ft+ after flower stretch

Whoa? That is really strain dependent. The current one I am growing has little to no stretch at all, so please don't just go throwing numbers out there.

To OP. What is your grow space and what is your feed schedule like? How much bubbles are you supplying? For a month in veg under a 600W in DWC, you should have a much larger plant than that in optimal conditions!
