Advice on Water Storage

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping by. I'm hoping for some suggestions for water storage. Setting up my laundry room with an Reverse Osmosis/DeIonization system and would like to pair it with some sort or reservoir with an auto shut off valve. I'm interested in suggestions for small floor space. I don't need to store a high volume of water as my grow is fairly small.

I may just resolve to use Rubbermaid type storage containers, but I'm looking for something more elegant.

These caught my eye, but I'd like to have something with a removable lid:

Another plus would be if the container were food grade, so that I could also drink the stored water in case of emergency.

Any suggestions that any of you may be willing to throw my way? I might just need to hear/see what others are using to get the gears turning.

So, to summarize, I'm looking for:
* Small footprint
* Lower Volume (15-30 gallons)
* Removable Lid
* Able to Store Water for Human Consumption

Thanks for your time,

MojoSlim

Closed top. Elegant or whatever you will need to paint your res to prevent ANY light intrusion.
ever try one of these? (see pic) i dont have good water pressure and i do most of my work outdoors so this has helped me alot. Not only does it recycle water i would let go to waste, it does a pretty good job of keeping debris and light out. The built in spiget was pretty useful too. I threw in a bubble stone but other than that i wouldnt change anything about it. Hell it doesn't even attract attention because it looks like a barrel. I got it from DroShop 2 years ago and its still holding up despite oregons shitty weather.

What is that product called? (can't seem to find it on Dro shop's Website)
How many gallons?
Footprint?
Food Grade?

It seems to be a rainwater barrel, which probably won't be a very utilitarian solution to my laundry room grow space.
