Hi RIU! This is my first thread (besides my introduction) and I'm kinda nervous, my english it's not too good but I think it'll be understandable, well, here we go.

As the title says I'm looking for a good LED light which covers 50x50x120cm just fine, at the time I just have two opitons in mind: the Hans Panel, and the 70w Amatista from Plant-Photonics,

I would go for the Hans Panel without hesitation if it wasn't for the "naked" LEDs and the "jumper style" mode switch a.k.a that little cable that inserts in what looks like a little PCB board with 4 pins.

I already own a LED lamp and guess what, 10 months of use and now just the veggin' mode stills working, so my other precious half, the more red one for sure, it's unusable.. Don't know what happened, it seems like 2 LEDs burned out and messed up with that part of the circuit or something.. its an AdvancedLed Diamond series 100w, for those who know them in person the switch light of the red spectrum still "works", I mean the button turns on and it brights as usual, but not the LEDs it's supossed to turn on indeed.. I fear foliar feeding and the light been too close to the plants could be the cause of the failure, thats why I'm not to secure about the Hans Panel, that and the cleaning of the fragile LEDs one by one due to maintanance, I could spray some water accidentaly on the panel and have a similar problem like with the AdvancedLed (the humidity here it's ultra low, i have to spray the plants 3 times a day), or break one of those tiny LEDs in a cleaning session.. I really like the HansPanel, it rocks for what i have seen and it's very cheap, but well I already told my fears about it.

The Amatista 70w looks waaay more safe for me, but the thing it's almost 100% more expensive for me to get.. so I don't know if paying the double compared to the Hans Panel for the Amatista would be good or theres some other options I don't know about and thats why I am asking for your opinions, I'd read almost every thread here in this section and it's more often to see high powered LED lights used or recommended, and thats out of my budget and my grow space, I would like to avoid the Cidly, Apolo and other alike options even if they are cheap and work good for what i've seen, I don't like the efficiency and I'm almost sure they are as loud as my AdvancedLed and I'm lookin for stealness (the AL was supposed to be quiet but thats not true at all, it has an HORRIBLE fan noise..)

Well, I extended more than I expected, sorry for that, just one more thing, I can't afford the time or cost of a DIY system at the moment, so thats out of question right now, I'll still looking for my ideal lamp, meanwhile let's see whats RIU opinion/options on my particulare case, thanks for the attention, take care you all!

Thanks shaun2000, I think I should have to send both compannys an e-mail about that, fact is I'm not into warrantys.. sounds stupid, but for the cost of the lamps and where I live the shipping costs would be like paying half price of the lamp, so it would have to be the best warranty ever covering most if not all shipping costs or whatever, in any case they have the last word on that so I'll ask them about their warranty, thanks again for your opinion.

It seems it will be the Amatista, thing looks water proof as spongebob, anyway I have to ask them about that too, they have 2 different photos of the product and one looks more reliable than the other, have to know what they actually ship at the moment and what are their limits.

I'll still hearing opinions and options, my top budget is £290 International shipping included, or the equivalent in USD.

see ya!

I personally use some Prakasa 120W lights as they have a 7 spectrum setup.

660nm X 10
630nm X 30
460nm X 8
610nm X 6
20000k X 6
UV X 1
IR X 1

I'm in grow setup similar in size to yours 60cmx60cmx140cm LxWxH

It seems to be working very well so far with 2 plants in there.

They can be purchased from several different online retailers.

I personally paid £130 for mine which included free next day delivery.

Hi lceauronm I checked the Prakasa and for the price it seems like a good light, the bad thing its it uses those little noisy fans and I want to be stealthy as I can, and they don't say what UV & IR nm they are using (could be wrong UV), those where the LEDs my AdvanceLed lost too haha, so I'm gonna pass on that but I appreciate your recommendation, take care!
