Hey guys, I'm just about to start my first run, i got a 400w hps+400w mh, one for veging, one for flowering. I have a 120cm*120cm space, what yield should I expect? I know, that it depends pretty much on the strain and everything, but based on this, what can i expect. (So that I wouldnt be disappointed :D) And I also wanna know, what is the best method to achieve maximum yield - veg for long time, then induce budding or veg for short time and harvest more often. Or if I should do more plants but smaller, or less plants, but higher. Oh and I need to finish in about 3 months. Thanks. I know im not the only one asking for this and Im sure, this question has been answered already, but I dont have the time to browse the whole forum, so I would be very gratefull if someone gave me an advice, thanks. :weed:

Hey man if it is your first grow, feel succesful if it makes it to harvest. And with three months only to work with I wouldn't veg much as flowering will take about to months on it's own for an indica dominate strain. A sativa strain could take a lot longer, my super lemon haze takes 93 days to finish how I like it.

You know, a lot of new folks want to have some sort of exact measurement of the yield they can expect.

Here's what you need to know:

*Plants aren't machines - They sometimes produce more, sometimes less, even if you do the same things every time. Sorry, that's just the way it is.

*Flower for longer and you will be able to get a bigger harvest. But again, this doesn't happen all the time.

*Good nutes are going to help you with your harvest. At least, that's what I've found to be true. Using Big Bud and Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients will help you in this case. But again, every plant is different and every grower is different, so you might want to use less, more, whatever.

The best way to ensure that your plant has the biggest harvest is to make sure the environment is top notch - good temp, good humidity, enough water, pest control, air circulation, etc.

It's a complicated game, growing, but it's totally worth it. Chances are good you might have a good harvest one time and a bad one the next time. It's hard to call - and you'll figure out what works for you the more you grow and the more experience you gain.
