Specs look good, don’t know about the quality, but some of these cheap lights work great. I’ve got 3 $50 150w off brand bar lights that perform really well. For that price you can get something with way more diodes mars fce series comes to mind and they’ll last a lot longer no uv, but supplemental uv lights aren’t too pricy.

Yeah I got 2 Mars tsw2000 (or some shit like that) and I like them. I'm really diggin the UV and IR bars on this light but your right, if there are other lights with same performance minus the uv/ir.

I looked into the uv A&B and these were t8 lamps with green glass. Forgot the company's name because there even too pricey for a DIY wire/hardware kit.

Search continues...

Any thoughts on this light. I'm debating buying 2 .

Sylstar LED Grow Lights SP8000-860W Samsung LM301B Diodes and UV&IR LEDs, Full Spectrum Dual Knobs and Dimmable Daisy Chain Commercial 10 Bars LED Growing Lamp Vertical Farming, 5x5ft Coverage https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DYFCRN2/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_GTSNQWMRK75V17VS34XT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
So never heard of this light but it boasts some big specs. Its def on the mid-high end of scale. My first set of cautions would be that I see no electrical certifications which a light this high end should have and also its not DLC listed. Having a DLC listing is huge so you can compare advertised numbers to the certification specs. It has UV and IR bars but they are not on a separate tuner. Since UV and IR still have yet to be proven scientifically with cannabis growth having the ability to control the amount is huge mainly because they might also cause issues with certain strains. What's the price of these lights and what space and set up do you want to use them on?

Right now I'm in a 4x8x7 tent. I built a sealed room 15' x 25', insulated and have all the electrical wired in. Also a 350gpd RO/DI with accumulator tank and pressure pumps for on demand water needs. Irrigation system is automated via Blumat pump system.
I use a 4x8 fabric raised bed with No Till organics.

The light has veg/bloom modes.
Potentiometer for both UV/IR bars and veg/bloom bars. 0-100%

Your set up seems like a solid base. Does it get cold in the winter where your at? With insulated walls and a good fan you should be able to move heat through your room to keep the leaves warm and transpiring. Love the fact your using beds, beds are def the way to go if you want a good flower product. We use our LEDs with beds and we've seen really good boosted results. How much is this light?

I'm a southern connecting neighbor to Ontario, Canada.

Thanks, the beds are nicer, but I do miss the 30gallon fabrics I used to run in. Still, I would not trade out my beds.

Price of the light it 800 each/ 5yr warranty.

If your budget is $800 I would 100% avoid any lights like that and go for name brand.

Gavita
Luxx
Growers Choice
Phantom
Spider Farmer
Mars Hydro
Horticulture Lighting Group (HLG)

Above are a few options in no particular order.

I would avoid anything with 5 reviews that isn't name brand. Also, don't buy an LED that doesn't have a 5 year warranty because that is one of the reasons the price is higher for LEDs to begin with.

I think Mars Hydro is the best budget friendly LED option BUT a few years ago I had a light they shipped that was flickering, it took like 3 weeks to get the issue resolved and their tech support seemed unable to understand the issue.. They sent me a power cord, then a driver which I Had to wire in myself and blahblah.. I had a fixture fail with Growers Choice and they had me a whole new light within 72 hours.. Oh and the "failure" was just 1 bar on the led went out, out of 4 units that is the only fixture to fail and it took a year @ 100% power before it happened.

I would even add MIGRO lights to that list, don't see them being recommended very often but they are up there as well.
