Aero cloning

so im entering day 3 of the aeroponic cloning. Im using RO water only and 24 hour lighting under 3 35 watt CFL's grow spectrum. I am currently working with Snow White from Nirvana seeds (said to be easy to clone). The mister is doing a good job, everytime i check the cutting is getting blasted. Im told it usually takes 3-5 days, sometimes a week so im trying to just remain patient. Made sure to cut the right branches and get the strong hormones flowing. Im wondering what are the first signs of a cutting to root? if i look really close i think i can see microscopic bristles but its still too early to know, i think. Any feedback would be helpful, this is my first attempt to clone.

ive heard both ways, is 24 hour supposed to root quicker than 18/6 ? i hear they need dark to grow roots but hear good things about 24.
