you want daylight blue for vegging and softwhite red for flowering.

but true im going to stop by lowes too lol. im going to get the 3 light bathroom fixture and get 3 daylight blue spectrum for vegging. then switch to softwhite red when time for flowering. i will prolly get another 3 light to for flowering lots of light lol.
 
Yea you can never have too many CFL's haha, 8-12 including the AG hood, that write up was just usefull info i read off grow journals, i subscribe to every single one haha, so i had alot of views, but narrowed it down into my own words, i'll be settin up this week too, its basically done, im just waiting for my seeds to pop and my air pump i ordered, good luck

Since my Ag isnt like any of the pros and shit. the arm doesnt go that high. what if the plants were to outgrow it? i was thinking i could take off the hood and just add more cfls.
 
can anybody help me out and send me a pic of the exact daylight blue and softwhite red lights. cuz i went to a couple of stores and i couldnt find what i was looking for. they kept showing me the reptile bulb or somehting like that lol. i was pretty baked, but confused.
 
It will say on the package, look for "daylight" blue, "softwhite" for red, and for the AG Hood, just pull the hood all the way out of the holder, and just snap it off, mine had only one screw, and the bar snapped pretty easy, not that strong of plastic, like i cut it off haha, my set up is sittin there waiting for me, i'll put a link of my grow journal in here, will be starting it wednesday, hopefully my pump will be here by the end of the week, like friday or somthing

and you mean for "daylight" the package will be blue and "softwhite" the package will be red
 
lol no thats what it says on the package, daylight is the blue spectrum and the soft white is the red spectrum, look at this package

i dont no why i dont get it i think i smoked myself retarted bro.
i went to wal mart and i saw packages that said daylight on them but thats all it said
 
yea, here look at the top left corner, you see that lil light graph? the lile bar is over on the "red" sid to the left, and if you look to the right there is a blue lile ball, its showing the light range, and for these, is in the red spectrum, here i edited the pic look at this

haha. alright. i think i got you now the bar was in the red range therfore its the red. and if the bars to the right its daylight.
their 2 different kind of lights right. cuz i thought you had two switch them like from veg-flow. but you said you snapped the hood off your AG not using that your just using the cfls?
