aero garden?

So I am new to the whole growing thing and I travel during the weekends so I thought the aero garden would be a good start http://www.officialaerogarden.com. I have a few questions though. Have any of you tired this before? Could i just take the plant seeds out of the packages and put the pot seeds in? What type do you suggest for it?

Welcome to the forum. The Aerogarden is well represented here. Read at least a couple of them before asking alot of questions. These folks have done what you are considering doing and spent a lot of time posting thier experience, many have included pictures. You will find it fun to do the research. Kinda like going to school with no teachers. VV
